Durham Township has been declared a disaster area due to the effects of Hurricane Ivan very early Saturday morning, September 18, 2004. I know of no injuries to people but there is extensive property damage because of high winds and the flooding of Cooks Creek and the Delaware River. I have many photos to post but am unable to do so until the power is restored to my home; so far it's been over 48 hours.
